Keri Panna is the best Indian traditional summer drink. Every corner of Indian household prepares this drink, may be slightly varying ingredients, some like it in sour tangy flavour with very less sweet in it, some like sour and sweet flavour , some prepare using sugar others using jaggery . But Kacchi keri remain as main ingredient, raw Mango varies from Tota pari, Kesar to simple Desi raw mango.
Keri Panna taste really good and very healthy too. It saves one from heat stroke, keep stomach cool and control thirst during summer.
Traditionally whenever anyone goes out during afternoon summer, they never use to step out without panna or other similar cooling drink like sattu drink, kokam drink but keri panna is one of the easy to prepare drink and very healthy.

I used sugar and jaggery both in this Panna recipe as it gives nice flavor and be more healthy, you can only use jaggery but it is little hot in nature and so I used Sugar also along with jaggery to balance it’s effect.

Keri Panna Recipe Ingredients
Raw Mango. 2
Mint leaves. 4-5
Jaggery 1/4 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Black Salt. 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
Method:
1. Boil Keri in cooker for 3-4 whistles
2. Once cooker is cool down then mash raw ma go and take our pulp
4, Discard cover and seed
5, Blend the pulp and mint leaves in mixture jar and suve it through strainer
6. Mix Jaggery powder and Sugar in 1/2 cup of water until dissolved
7. Add black Salt and roasted cumin powder and mix
8. Add blended pulp
9. Mix well
10. Panna is ready
Serve chilled and decorate with fresh Mint leave.
Simple but very tasty and healthy summer drink . Try it this summer and beat the heat.
